![]() If I load single player without the mod enabled, I can play just fine. If I attempt to load single player with just that mod enabled, I get a fatal crash error from ARK. There's a lot of mods that don't seem to be giving me this problem, but lately it seems to be the full conversion mods that give me this problem, like Primal Fear, Ark Eternal, EC. Unsub from the mod > Delete the mod and cache data > Exit Steam > Restart Steam as forced admin > Sub back to the mod > wait for the download to complete through steam > Launch Ark > Wait for the mod install message to finish and disappear > Join server with mod > Still would get the mod install message. I would troubleshoot with all known options for this kind of issue. Once I joined the server that has the mod enabled, "Primal Fear", it starts the installation process again. I subscribed to the mod first, without even joining a server, and waited for the install message to disappear. The PC I am on currently has "Download while in-game" enabled. My only solution was to copy the mod and cache folder for this particular mod "Primal Fear", from a network PC that was successfully able to download the latest version of the mod. ![]() ![]() The problem mods tend to be: Primal Fear, or Ark Eternal, or EC. I've had this particular issue for weeks, with no resolution, no matter how many times I rejoined the server I wanted to play on, the same mod would always have issues installing. Not sure what's going on with installing mods. ![]()
